Highland Council - Ward Discretionary Fund
Each of the 21 council wards receives a discretionary budget and it will be for each ward to consider when they wish to commit funds. Any reasonable applications, normally from community groups and organisations will be considered.
A M Garnett Charitable Trust
The Trust fund exists primarily to assist bodies helping medicine, the environment and education.
SSE - Strathy North Joint Community Fund
The community fund can support projects which build the sustainability of the local communities as vibrant places to live, work and visit, and support the development of a range of activities and services available to the community.

Grants are available to community groups or for projects which have future long term benefit for the community.
The Scottish Hydro Electric Community Trust
Not-for-profit community projects can apply for up to 50% of the costs of an electricity connection within the Scottish Hydro-Electric Distribution area, particularly those in rural areas.
