To redistribute surplus food from the food industry to vulnerable people in the community. FareShare aims to ensure that 'no good food goes to waste', benefiting the community in numerous ways - improving the diets of the homeless, helping organisations working with the homeless by reducing food bills, and reducing the amount of waste going to landfill.Originally set up as part of Crisis, the homeless charity, there are now seven FareShare projects around the country, set up under a social franchise model.
